Three Vital Breaths
A Short Course on Prāṇāyāma
Welcome to Three Vital Breaths
A Short Course on Prāṇāyāma
One time a true Master shared with me a powerful set of breath exercises from his yogic tradition where he was raised in India. I faithfully practiced that set of breath exercises every single day for 1.5 years without missing a single day. That practice changed my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. The problem is, however, few people have time to do such a long practice! Since that time, my experience as a Doctor of Āyurveda has continued to shed light on the significance of Prāṇāyāma, in particular, three of them that are the most important for our time.
Among all the Prāṇāyāmas, three stand out as the most medicinal and helpful for us in our time
My lifelong study of Yoga as well as my experience as an Ayurvedic Physician has given me a unique perspective on how to harness a breathwork practice and also how it can go wrong and actually support imbalance in one’s life.
That’s why, I’m excited to offer this new one-of-a-kind course
Whether looking through the lens of Āyurveda, Yoga, or modern psychology, Prāṇāyāma exercises are easily one of the most important and life-changing components of a balanced life. But do you know the best part? They are FREE. Meaning, once you know them, you can experience their transformational ability anywhere you go.
In this course, I will share with you the Three Vital Breaths, how to practice them, and, perhaps most important, how NOT to practice them. You may well know one, two, or even all of these breaths, but the real art is in knowing how to harness them to maximize health. Otherwise, even the best practices can actually increase our imbalances.
This is just a two-part class and it begins on Monday June 29th at 6 pm EST. The cost is just $50.
This comprehensive course will cover:
Introduction and instruction on the significance of prāṇāyāma from the Yogic and Āyurvedic perspectives
My top 3 that one should do everyday for optimal health, vitality, and peace
How to use these breath exercises according to Ayurveda and how they balance or aggravate the 3 doshas
How to create your own breathwork routine that fits your needs
Indications and contraindications for each breath learned
Instruction on how to do each breath correctly… and what not to do
How to modify each breath correctly
…and much more
